Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license
• Operating Room nursing, perioperative nursing, or surgical services experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, patient safety, and surgical nursing standards
• Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to changing assignments and multiple patient care needs
• Commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and patient advocacy

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and high-quality patient-family centered care in the operating room and perioperative areas
• Act as a patient advocate throughout the surgical experience
• Develop and implement total nursing care plans based on patient assessments and nursing diagnoses
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, LPNs, nursing assistants, and ancillary team members
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and reassessments according to policy
• Assess and manage pain appropriately using approved techniques
• Participate in age-specific care and apply trained principles across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
• Maintain professional nursing practice standards and support a cooperative clinical environment
