Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position in Louisville, KY, requiring at least 2 years of RN experience with spine and vascular experience and an active KY or compact RN license.

Details

• Located in a Surgical Services OR department within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, 4 days per week (10-hour shifts)
• On-call required once per week from 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required
• Spine and vascular OR experience required
• Nursing Diploma or ASN degree required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessment, care plan development and implementation, evaluation of clinical interventions, and patient/family education
• Expected to delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel and serve in a mentor/preceptor capacity
• Participates in quality, safety, and service process improvement initiatives and maintains regulatory compliance
• Applies evidence-based practice within a Practice Governance framework
