Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring a PA or compact RN license, BSN, and a minimum of 2-3 years of Level I Trauma experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting with potential floating to the GI unit or a satellite surgery center
• Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–3:15 PM (5x8s)
• Per 6-week schedule cycle: 2 weekend night shifts (8 or 12 hrs depending on staffing)
• Holiday coverage required: 1 summer and 1 winter holiday call shift, plus 1 summer and 1 winter holiday work shift (8 or 12 hrs depending on staffing)
• Liver and kidney transplant/surgical cases are part of the patient population
• Charting performed in Cerner

Requirements

• Active PA RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• BSN required
• Minimum 2-3 years of OR experience in a Level I Trauma setting
• Liver and kidney surgical experience required
• Trauma certification required
• Scrub and circulate experience preferred
• Cerner experience preferred
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copies of certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are accepted but at a different pay rate
