Job Summary:
Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician position located in Kailua. This role involves assisting the surgical team with preparation and maintenance of sterile fields, passing instruments, supplies, and medications during operative procedures, and performing technical skills necessary for successful surgical outcomes. The position supports operational efficiency in a busy surgical environment within a healthcare organization committed to excellence.

Job Details:

• Shift Hours: 10-hour shifts
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
• Start Date: 09/06/2026
• Required Qualifications: High School Education/GED or equivalent; Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per healthcare organization policy; Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Preferred Qualifications: Associates/Technical Degree or equivalent; scrub technician experience; operating room experience and/or training course; Surgery Technician certification.
• Additional Information: Assists in preparing for surgical cases by checking supplies and equipment, assembling sterile fields, reviewing inventory, and setting up instrumentation. Responsible for maintaining aseptic technique, labeling solutions, and performing housekeeping duties as needed. Transports patients, performs clerical duties, and completes instrument, sponge, needle, and blade counts according to standards. Performs other related duties as assigned to support surgical operations.
