Job Summary:
The Surgical Technician (Operating Room Technician) position is located in Calais, Maine. The role involves the safe and sterile setup and handling of all surgical instrumentation during scheduled and emergency surgical procedures. This position requires the ability to effectively communicate with department personnel, hospital staff, medical teams, and vendors, supporting clinical operations in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program, possession of a current operating room technician (ORT) certification, current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, at least 2 years of surgical technician or operating room experience, and must be able to communicate effectively with department personnel, hospital staff, medical teams, and vendors

• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
