Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Round Rock, Texas. This assignment involves providing specialized perioperative care within a 11-operating room facility. - Required Qualifications: Certifications in nursing (RN), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Valid licensure to practice as a registered nurse in Texas. Experience in both general surgery and specialty procedures such as orthopedic, neuro, vascular, and robotic surgery. The candidate must have a minimum of one year of OR nursing experience, with specific requirements for CVOR cases including at least two years of CVOR experience, handling adult open heart, endovascular, and TAVR cases.
- Preferred Qualifications: Trauma experience, vascular surgery expertise, and familiarity with advanced surgical equipment and procedures are highly desirable.
- Uniform/Dress Code: Light blue scrubs provided; scrubs are part of the dress code.
- Additional Information: Candidates should demonstrate flexibility in adapting to different surgical cases and room setups. Willingness to assist in training new graduate techs or nurses is a plus.
