Job Summary:
Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) opportunity in San Jose, California. This position involves providing perioperative support within a busy surgical unit, assisting with a variety of surgical procedures including neuro, spine, total joint, gastric sleeves, major general surgery, ENT, pediatric, and urology cases. The role requires a team-oriented professional with a flexible and friendly attitude to ensure smooth operations in a dynamic hospital environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Certified Operating Room Technician with completion of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited program, passing the NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) exam, BLS certification, and at least 3 years of experience in an operating room setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include working with perioperative equipment, adhering to hospital policies, and rotating on-call shifts as scheduled. Orientation will be provided on-site, and candidates must demonstrate flexibility and effective teamwork skills.
