Travel Ophthalmic Technician
Location: 200 N. Robertson Blvd, Suite 303, Beverly Hills, CA 90211
Contract Length: 13 Weeks with possible extension
Start Date: August 17, 2026
Pay Rate: Up to $1700 weekly gross (Travler)
Schedule: Days | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
We're seeking an experienced Travel Ophthalmic Technician in Beverly Hills, California. This 13-week assignment offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, multi-provider outpatient ophthalmology practice using advanced diagnostic technology while delivering exceptional patient care.
First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities- Prepare exam rooms and patients for ophthalmology appointments.
- Obtain and document medical histories, medications, and allergies.
- Measure and record visual acuity, color vision, and intraocular pressure.
- Perform diagnostic testing including:
- Auto-refraction
- Corneal topography
- Visual field testing
- OCT and fundus photography
- Keratometry
- Ocular motility testing
- A-Scans and Schirmer testing
- Perform applanation tonometry and other ophthalmic diagnostic procedures.
- Administer dilating eye drops as directed by the provider.
- Assist ophthalmologists during examinations and office procedures.
- Educate patients regarding eye medications and post-procedure care.
- Maintain equipment, sterilize instruments, stock supplies, and document accurately in Epic.
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Rotating 1–2 Saturday mornings per month (8:00 AM–12:00 PM)
- No on-call requirements
- No floating required
