• Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) - Travel Assignment
• Location: Plano, TX 75075
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Shift Schedule: Wednesday-Friday, 11:00 AM-11:00 PM
• Call: Required, with approximately 5-6 call shifts per month
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,840-$1,940
• Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative Services

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of OR nursing or perioperative nursing experience required
• Experience with orthopedic cases, neuro/spine, robotics, plastics, and trauma preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and participate in call coverage
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-based surgical environment
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced Operating Room setting with a 1:1 patient care focus

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care throughout the perioperative process
• Support a variety of surgical cases, including orthopedic trauma, total joints, revisions, neuro/spine, robotics, plastics, and trauma procedures
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR team members to ensure smooth case flow
• Maintain patient safety, accurate documentation, and efficient room turnover
• Respond to call coverage as scheduled and support the department's 24/7 surgical operations
• Deliver professional, compassionate care while adapting to changing priorities in a busy Operating Room environment
