Position Summary

• Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
• Shift: 4 × 10-Hour Days (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Contract Length: (13 weeks)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of OR RN experience
• BLS Certification
• Level I Trauma experience (required)
• Level I Trauma course/certification (required)
• Scrub and Circulate experience (required – HARD STOP)
• Previous Charge Nurse experience required

Required Clinical Experience

Candidates must have experience with:

• Cardiac surgery
• Liver transplant procedures
• Craniotomies
• Spinal surgery/Spinal fusion
• General OR
• Neurosurgery
• Orthopedic surgery
• Scrubbing neurological surgeries
• Scrubbing orthopedic surgeries

Preferred Experience

• Orthopedic fracture cases
• Total joint replacement
• Trauma Level II experience
• First-time travelers accepted with strong experience

Schedule

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Every 3rd weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
• No on-call
• No holiday requirement

Additional Notes

• 50-mile local radius rule (local rate differential applies).
• Scrub experience is mandatory and is a hard-stop requirement.
• Travelers must complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
• PA Childline clearance and fingerprinting may be required before the start date.
• Managers typically review and confirm auto-offer candidates within 48 hours.
• Modules are completed during orientation. The first 8 hours are non-billable; additional module time is billable.
