Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room circulator position requiring 18 months of recent OR experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Work as an OR circulator in a hospital operating room setting
• Scrub experience preferred
• Day shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts, typically 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Possible shift variations including 7:00 AM-3:00 PM and 7:30 AM-5:30 PM
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license required in hand
• Minimum of 18 months recent combined OR experience required
• Scrub experience preferred
• Active certifications required and must be in hand at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Perform circulating duties in the operating room, with preference for candidates who also have scrub experience
• PBDS assessment is waived, but ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments must be completed and passed during orientation with a maximum of two attempts
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments may extend up to 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month break before returning unless otherwise approved
• Background check findings will be reviewed by the facility, but candidates with an open case will not be accepted
• License hits are not accepted by the facility
