Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position specializing in General Surgery and Ortho cases, requiring current BLS and AHA NIH certifications.

Details

• Work in the Main OR of a 24-bed surgical unit
• Patient population includes General Surgery and Orthopedic surgical cases
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Uses standard OR equipment
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 5x8-hour shifts, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• On-call requirements apply

Requirements

• Active RN license (AL or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (AHA only, American Red Cross not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in General Surgery and Orthopedic OR settings required
• Da Vinci Robot and Max Face experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care for General Surgery and Orthopedic surgical patients
• Navy scrub color required
• Unacceptable attire includes T-shirts, fleece jackets, hoods, and nail polish
• Local candidates are not accepted
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
