Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Amarillo, TX 79106

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Amarillo, Texas

Schedule: 4x10 hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM) with rotating days off. Rotating call required. 36 visits per day in a 15-room operating suite.

Highlights:

• 91-day travel assignment in a dynamic operating room environment
• Work with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
• Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
• First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of OR experience
• Two pre-approved time-off periods available during contract

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in general OR, ortho/spine, and laparoscopic procedures preferred
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius from the facility
• Ability to complete onboarding requirements within 48 hours of contract signing
