Day shift, working 5x8 hours from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM. Weekend coverage typically required every 4th weekend.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced OR Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to work collaboratively within a team and provide surgical support to patients across various procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assisting surgeons during various surgical procedures including but not limited to hysterectomies, amputations, and joint replacements.
- Maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring patient safety throughout all stages of surgery.
- Providing preoperative and postoperative care to patients.
- Managing and documenting patient information and surgical outcomes using the Epic charting system.
- Participating in on-call rotation as required, typically for weekday shifts from 3 PM to 7 AM.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in an acute care operating room setting.
- Must possess a valid South Carolina RN license or a valid Compact license.
- Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
- Experience with various surgical techniques and procedures is essential.
