GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Florence, South Carolina.
About the Position
Position/Specialty: OR RN
Shift: 4x10s, 7a-5p, call every 3-4 weekend
# of ORs: 12
Is on-call REQ? Yes, 2 late call till 11pm per week and every 3rd-4th weekend call
Weekend REQ: every 3rd to 4th weekend
Will this traveler float between service lines? No
Floating Req to Sister Facilities: No
Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: Minimum of 5 years in the acute care operating room setting (well rounded - strong in general, neuro, ortho, ENT, GYN)
First time travelers accepted: Yes, if they have a broad scope of specialty competency
License REQ: SC or Multi State/Compact RN license
Certs REQ: BLS
Trauma Level REQ: We are a Level 3 trauma center
Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; facility does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers
Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule? Requires managers approval upon request. Dependent on unit's needs
Local Radius: 60-mile radius rule
Locals Accepted: No local travelers accepted
RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs
Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift

Hurricane Season: Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
