Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Olympia, WA 98506

Start Date: October 6, 2026

Location: Olympia, Washington

Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, Days (06:30 - 17:00), 40 hours orientation

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment at a 325-bed short-term acute care facility
• General surgical operating room with diverse case mix including thoracic, orthopedic, ENT, urology, and trauma procedures
• EPIC charting system utilized throughout the facility
• Scrub experience required across multiple surgical specialties
• Trauma Level II facility experience preferred
• Opportunity to work with advanced surgical technologies including cell saver, laser, and electrosurgical units

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Community hospital and Trauma Level II experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Proficiency in scrubbing thoracic, general, ENT, orthopedic, urology, and trauma surgeries
• Experience with laparoscopic procedures, arthroscopy, total joint replacement, and various general surgical procedures
• Knowledge of fire safety, laser safety, radiation safety, infection control, and specimen handling protocols
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays during assignment period
