Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Olympia, WA 98506

Start Date: October 20, 2026

Location: Olympia, Washington

Schedule: 3x12-hour evening shifts (09:00 - 21:30); 13-week assignment through January 19, 2027

Highlights:

• Short-term acute care facility with 325 staffed beds utilizing EPIC charting system
• Scrub experience required across multiple surgical specialties including general, orthopedic, urologic, ENT, and trauma procedures
• 40 hours of paid orientation to support your transition
• Opportunity to work with advanced surgical technologies including laser safety, cell saver, and electrosurgical units
• Exposure to diverse case types including thoracic, arthroscopic, and trauma surgeries
• Holiday commitment required: 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Community hospital experience required; Trauma Level II experience required
• EPIC charting system experience preferred
• Extensive scrub experience across multiple surgical specialties including general surgery, orthopedic procedures, urology, ENT, thoracic, and trauma cases
• Proficiency in fire safety, infection control, laser safety, radiation safety, specimen handling, and wound management
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Clean background check required (no exceptions for background findings)
• Willingness to float to sister facilities as needed
