Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with required vascular surgery experience for a day shift assignment requiring an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Operating Room unit within a hospital nursing department
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Requires 1-2 call shifts per week
• Vascular surgery experience required

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 12 months permanent Operating Room experience required
• 1 year combined permanent experience in the specialty required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required (co-worker references not accepted)
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• Perform circulating and/or scrub duties supporting vascular surgery cases
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation with up to 2 attempts to pass
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Travelers may only be submitted for one position at a time within the Cleveland Clinic Health System
• Holiday coverage required for every other holiday
• Assignments limited to 18 consecutive months, followed by a required 6-month break before returning to any Cleveland Clinic location
• Permanent employees cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Background check hits are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, but open cases and any professional license hits will not be accepted
