Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring a TX or compact RN license and 1 year of specialty experience.

Details

• Surgery/Operating Room department with 9 beds
• 1:1 patient ratio in the OR
• Procedures include neurosurgery, urology, general surgery, colorectal, plastics, podiatry, ENT, and orthopedics
• Uses specialized equipment including Brain Lab, Davinci robotic system, and microscope
• Meditech EMR system used
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Mandatory call coverage based on unit needs
• Weekend call shifts run 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am
• Weekday call shifts run 3pm-7am
• Floating to Bay Area OR required

Requirements

• Active RN license, TX or compact required
• BLS certification required
• 1 year of recent OR specialty experience required
• CST certification considered for candidates with that background
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Motivated and detail-oriented candidates preferred
• Hospital-issued scrubs required per dress code
• Must comply with hospital policies for surgical services
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility with no exceptions for local candidates
