Travel Surgical Technologist – OR
Department: Operating Room (OR) – Ground Floor Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Weekend/Call: Late coverage/call every other week EMR: Meditech
Required Qualifications
CST certification – Required
BLS – Required
Strong OR/Surgical Technologist experience
Ability to work independently with minimal orientation
Required Clinical Experience
Candidates must have experience with:
Orthopedic surgery, including total joint replacements
ENT
General surgery
Urology/GYN
Surgical identification and setup
Sterile technique and aseptic practices
Surgical counts
Specimen handling
Surgical site preparation and draping
Medication handling on the sterile field
Troubleshooting sterile-field contamination
Fast room turnover
