Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients throughout the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
• Assist surgical team members in the operating room, ensuring a safe and sterile environment
• Perform patient assessments, document care accurately, and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team
• Respond to on-call duties as required per department scheduling needs
• Adhere to facility policies, infection control standards, and surgical safety protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Louisiana or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or acute care surgical setting
• Familiarity with scrub and circulator roles within the OR
• Strong ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced travel assignment environment
