Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM | Onsite | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized perioperative nursing care within a dedicated Operating Room/Surgery Unit serving patients of all ages
• Utilize Cerner EHR for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in call coverage as required, including approximately 12 call shifts per month and one on-call weekend per month; must be able to respond to call within 30 minutes
• Float to other areas as needed based on unit demands
• Adhere to facility dress code; scrubs are provided

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure valid in North Carolina (or compact license eligibility)
• ACLS certification required prior to start
• BLS certification required prior to start
• CPI/HWC/MAB certification required prior to start
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a specialized Operating Room setting (this is not a floor/med-surg position)
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health records
• Familiarity with a broad surgical case mix across multiple specialties, including cardiology, orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, and urology
• Ability to work every-other weekend and adapt to a flexible call schedule
