Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR Circulator RN for a 13-week contract requiring rotating call coverage and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Works in a 5-OR surgical suite with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Uses basic OR equipment including cautery, video monitors, arthroscopy equipment, and positioning equipment
• Charts in Meditech EMR
• No floating required
• Rotating call required, including at least one weeknight per week and one weekend shift per 5-week schedule

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent OR circulator experience required
• Experience in orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, robotics, urology, vascular, cardiovascular, neuro, or thoracic surgery preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide circulating RN support across a variety of surgical procedures including orthopedic, general, gynecologic, robotic, urologic, vascular, cardiovascular, neuro, and thoracic cases
• Work alongside a team including a charge nurse, manager, surgical techs, and support staff
• Scrubs provided by the facility
• Candidates should demonstrate a flexible, caring, compassionate, and willing attitude
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel position
