Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | Shifts available in 8s, 10s, and 12s (start time 6:45 AM); 10-hour shifts preferred based on facility needs. Call requirements include 2–3 weeknights per 6-week rotation (11 PM–7 AM) and weekend call in 12-hour increments from 7 PM Friday through 7 AM Monday. Holiday on-call per rotation. 30-minute call response time required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide perioperative nursing care across a 9-suite OR, including a dedicated cardiac suite, averaging 25–30 cases per day
  • Support a broad range of surgical specialties including orthopedics (total joints, trauma, spine), neurosurgery, general surgery, gynecology, ENT, and urology
  • Assist with robotic-assisted procedures including Mako and DaVinci robotic systems
  • Participate in trauma cases such as MVCs, fractures, and other acute injuries; patient population is typically 15 years of age and older
  • Fulfill on-call obligations including weeknight, weekend, and holiday rotations as assigned
  • Collaborate with OR technicians and charge nursing staff to maintain safe and efficient surgical operations

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to meet a 30-minute on-call response time
  • Willingness to participate in weeknight, weekend, and holiday call rotations

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Current ACLS certification
  • Scrubbing experience (preferred but not required for RNs)
  • Familiarity with Epic EMR (Epic training provided during onboarding if needed)
  • Experience with robotic surgical platforms such as Mako or DaVinci
