Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting
• Schedule consists of 3x 12-hour day shifts per week
• 36 hours per week
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active RN license, Single State or Compact (CO)
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required and must not expire prior to start
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification required as appropriate for the unit or service
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the specialty required
• ASN required, graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
• BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• No pending license allowed for consideration
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
• Perform health teaching and health counseling
• Provide therapy and treatment supportive and restorative to life and well-being, directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others
• Execute delegated medical functions and refer patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment
• Background check and drug screening required, with results expected within approximately 2 weeks
