Registered Nurse - Operating Room (RN-OR)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. This role involves providing high-quality surgical care and supporting a variety of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to facilitate successful outcomes in various surgical specialties, including neuro and vascular procedures.
  • Utilize advanced critical thinking and nursing skills to assess patient needs before, during, and after surgery.
  • Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to established protocols and best practices.
  • Keep accurate patient records and participate in performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Previous travel experience in the Operating Room is preferred.
  • Experience in level 1 trauma care is required.
  • High proficiency on skills checklist, particularly in neuro and vascular nursing.
  • Competence in Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard applications.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and holidays, without block scheduling.
  • Access to electronic devices to utilize necessary applications.
