Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR) Call

Schedule

This is a 10-hour day shift position, working a 10x4 schedule with no block scheduling. Availability for weekends and holidays is required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in the Operating Room to provide essential support during surgical procedures. The RN will be on call and is expected to respond as needed, demonstrating expertise in a level 1 trauma environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the Operating Room (OR) setting, assisting surgical teams as needed.
• Assess patient needs and provide appropriate interventions during surgical procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• Previous travel experience in an Operating Room setting.
• Demonstrated high proficiency in skills checklist, including neuro and vascular surgery.
• Experience in a level 1 trauma setting.
• Competency in using Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard.
• Access to personal electronic devices to utilize required applications.
