Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide essential coverage for surgical cases, including both routine and urgent procedures. This role involves offering pre-operative and post-operative care within a dynamic clinical environment.

Schedule

The working hours for this position are as follows:

• Saturday and Sunday: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM
• One additional 12-hour shift during the week

The total weekly hours will amount to 36 hours.

On-Call Requirements

On-call availability is required, with full details to be discussed during the interview process.

Qualifications

• Current Kansas RN single state or multistate license
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• No hits on license or background check

Role Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse, you will be involved in a variety of surgical cases, requiring a solid understanding of surgical procedures and patient care. Responsibilities include:

• Pre-operative assessment and preparation of patients
• Post-operative care and monitoring for any complications
• Collaboration with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Facility Policies

• Cancellation Policy: The client may cancel one shift per 30 days of a 13-week assignment without applying that week to GHS.
• If canceled after the healthcare professional begins their shift, the client will pay for hours worked or a minimum of 2 hours, whichever is greater.
• Holiday pay applies only to hours worked from 12:00 AM to 12:00 AM on the actual holiday, with holiday scheduling rotating throughout the team.
