Orthopedic surgery including total joints ENT General surgery Uro/gyn Surgical identification and setup Sterile technique and aseptic practice Counts Specimen handling Surgical site preparation and draping Medication handing on sterile field Troubleshooting sterile field contamination Fast room turnover Working independently with minimal orientation Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Intraoperative neuromonitoring familiarity Vendor coordination List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Orthopedic surgery including total joints GYN procedures/hysteroscopy/cystoscopy ENT Tonsillectomy, thyroidectomy, FESS FUSION General surgery Ophthalmic surgery Best personality Fit: CST REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: BLS CST Floating Area(s): Endoscopy Endoscopy Dress Code: Hospital laundered scrubs, hair cover - Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
