Join a leading acute-care hospital as an RN specializing in the Operating Room (OR) in Los Alamos, NM. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a 47-bed acute care facility with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. With a focus on providing high-quality care, you will be part of a facility that serves all ages and has a robust surgical department.

Position Information:

• Facility Department/Cost Center: 2779 (701) SURGERY
• Shift: 06:30-15:00, 8 Hours
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every Other/As Needed
• Call Requirements: As Needed/10-11 days of call each month, potentially 15-16 days per month
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, HWC
• Years of Experience: 2+
• Float Requirements: As Needed/Pre-Op

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 3 OR, 3 PACU, 5 Preop
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2
• EHR: CQI and Medhost
• Supervisor: James Maxey, Director of Surgical Services

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Required certification/licensure to work as an RN in NM
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Travel experience is a plus, but not required
• Personality Fit: Professional

• Scrub Color: Hospital provided
• Unacceptable Attire: Casual wear, open-toed shoes

All travelers must have required certifications at submission, as certifications are not available on site. Candidates must be 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for this travel position. Orientation is weekly, on Mondays. All clinical staff on assignment in New Mexico must be fingerprinted before hire and provide documentation that the check is being processed.
