Description

American Traveler is hiring a seasonal Travel RN for the Operating Room, requiring current acute care OR experience and a CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Main OR unit within a 284-bed hospital
• 3-day-per-week schedule covering Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, 7A-7P shifts
• Day shift staffed with 1 Charge RN, 1 Trauma RN, and 1 Trauma Tech (may vary)
• Night shift staffed with 1 RN, 1 Tech, plus 2 RN and 2 Tech on-call
• Patient ratios typically 1:1 to 1:2, though not guaranteed
• Performs vascular/hybrid, trauma, and neuro procedures
• Uses DaVinci Robotics equipment
• Documents in Meditech / CPN EMR
• On-call required from 5P-11P Monday through Friday with a 30-minute response time, no overnight on-call

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care OR RN experience required
• No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and DOB required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• One professional reference required
• Trauma OR facility travel experience preferred
• Robotics experience highly preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide surgical nursing support in a large trauma OR setting handling vascular/hybrid, trauma, and neuro cases
• Self-motivated team players with a positive attitude are the best fit for this unit
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
