Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring circulating experience and a AZ or compact RN license.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting with a Level 3 trauma designation
- ,
- Operating Room unit with 4 ORs
- Handles General, Ortho, Neuro, OB-GYN, and ENT surgical cases
- Circulating RN role only
- Typical patient ratio is 1:1
- Uses Allscripts as the charting system (EMR)
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Weekend and call requirements vary and will be discussed during interview
- No floating required
- 24/7 in-house pharmacy support available
Requirements
- Active RN license (AZ or Compact) required
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 1-2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
- BSN not required for this position
Additional Information
- Circulate for a variety of surgical case types including General, Ortho, Neuro, OB-GYN, and ENT
- Blue scrubs are provided by the hospital
- Orientation sessions are held every Monday
- Cancellation policy allows up to 3 cancellations per 13-week assignment
