Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN with a minimum of 2 years of experience and required Alaska licensure for a 16-week contract requiring call coverage.

Details

• Operating Room setting handling General, GYN, Urology, Robotics (Da Vinci), Ortho, Neuro/Spine, Podiatry, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Eyes, and Trauma cases
• 10-hour rotating shifts, Monday through Friday, 0700-1730
• Weekend call required
• Holiday call required
• Mandatory on-call requirement
• Occasional floating to Endo required

Requirements

• Active AK RN license required
• Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required, 5+ years preferred
• New graduates not accepted
• Reliable transportation required

Additional Information

• Perform circulating and/or scrub duties across a wide variety of surgical specialties
• Fingerprints must be mailed to the Alaska Department of Health and Services within 48 hours of offer acceptance
• Free 1-bedroom housing available for a single occupant, pets not permitted
• Optional housing allowance available for those who arrange their own housing
• A vehicle is recommended for winter transportation
