**Join Our Team as a Surgical RN with Scrub Abilities!** **Job Description:** We are seeking a passionate Surgical RN with scrub abilities to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic surgical environment. Elevate your nursing career while making a meaningful impact on patients' lives! **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide direct patient care to neonate through geriatric populations. - Address psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care in the surgical environment. - Maintain continuous communication with the surgical team, including surgeons and anesthesia providers. - Ensure readiness of surgical equipment and inventory. - Participate in performance improvement activities. - Assess the operating room for equipment functioning and readiness. - Prepare and assess patients before, during, and after surgery, being their advocate throughout the perioperative process. **Duties/Responsibilities:** - Support the mission, vision, and values of our organization. - Adapt nursing procedures for diverse age groups (neonate to geriatric). - Collaborate with anesthesia providers to prepare patients for surgery. - Conduct thorough assessments and document clearly and concisely. - Educate patients and families regarding pain management. **Intra-Operative Duties:** - Ensure completion of pre-op checklists. - Prepare patients and surgical suites for procedures. - Demonstrate competence in surgical asepsis. - Manage safe administration of medications and parenteral fluids. - Communicate effectively with the surgical team regarding patient condition. - Participate in instrument processing and sterilization. **Qualifications:** - Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Associates, Diploma, or BSN). - Active RN license in Idaho or compact state. - At least 1 year of surgical experience preferred. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire. - Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of hire. **Skills and Abilities:** - High-level abstract reasoning to assess and evaluate patient care. - Basic computer skills to navigate Microsoft Windows programs. - Availability for routine on-call emergency surgical services. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
