Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a day shift position requiring 2 years of OR experience and periodic weekend call.

Details

• Work in the Surgery unit of a 265-bed regional referral hospital
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM
• On-call responsibilities required, including 1-2 weekend days of call per 13-week period
• No special floating requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license, OK or compact license accepted
• Minimum 2 years of RN Operating Room experience required
• CVOR experience preferred
• Relevant certifications preferred, though candidates without active copies may still be considered

Additional Information

• Provide surgical patient care throughout the perioperative process, preparing patients and monitoring recovery
• Educate patients on procedure outcomes and expectations
• Requests for more than 5 days of RTO may affect processing timeline
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate
• Former direct employees of the facility must wait 6 months before returning through an agency
