Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with strong orthopedic circulating experience and a NJ or compact RN license required.

Details

• Circulate in orthopedics, spine, robotics, and general surgery cases
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Exposure to a wide range of surgical specialties including thoracic, general surgery, urology, bariatrics, ENT, gynecology, neurology, plastics, podiatry, and robotics
• Utilizes advanced equipment such as Da Vinci Surgical Systems, Mako Surgical System, cell saver, electrosurgical units, and Hana Table
• Epic charting system experience preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license (NJ State or Compact) required in hand at time of consideration
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room RN experience required
• Strong orthopedic surgical experience required
• Experience with circulating in orthopedics, spine, robotics, and general surgery required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include circulating across multiple surgical specialties including orthopedics, spine, general surgery, and robotics
• Must adhere to Universal Protocol (Time Out) procedures, infection control, and specimen handling practices
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• Former staff must wait at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
