Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 2+ years of OR experience with robotic and ortho/neuro specialization.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room unit
• Surgical specialties include ortho, oncology, bariatrics, vascular, neuro, trauma, and robotics
• 10hr Day shift, 0630-1700, 4 shifts per week
• Wednesdays off
• Uses Epic EMR
• Call required: 1 shift per week after scheduled day (2-4 hours) plus 1-2 12hr weekend shifts per month
• Floating required, with travelers floated first, potentially to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• Robotic surgery experience required
• Ortho/neuro surgical experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Nursing degree accreditation must be verifiable, or candidate must have 5 years of experience
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing

Additional Information

• Function as core staff within the unit, with strong emphasis on team culture and flexibility
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility and cannot own or cosign property within that radius
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront, as RTO will not be approved after submission
• Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote orientation and an in-person visit for badge/ID
• Facility provides scrubs
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date, with no exceptions for pending documents
