Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least 3 years of OR experience and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

• Operating Room setting within a hospital environment
• Rotating shifts, Monday through Friday, 10-hour shifts (0700-1700 or 0900-1900)
• Rotating on-call responsibilities during weekdays and weekends based on department needs
• Holiday coverage required, including call hours
• May require floating within skill set or to sites within 40 miles, though rare
• Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room experience required
• Minimum 1 year of prior travel nursing experience required
• Robotic surgery experience preferred
• Scrub nurse experience helpful
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Perform surgical nursing duties within the Operating Room department
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
