Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring DaVinci robotics and multi-specialty surgical experience.

Details

• Operating Room setting within a hospital environment
• Cases include DaVinci robotics, ortho total joints, sports medicine, spine, urology, general surgery, and endoscopy (EGD/colonoscopies)
• Schedule is Monday-Friday, 06:30-15:00, with flexibility required
• On-call responsibilities based on department needs, currently 1-2 weekday night call shifts per week
• Weekend requirement of 2 weekend days per 4-week schedule
• May require floating onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Experience with DaVinci robotics required
• Experience in ortho total joints, sports medicine, spine, urology, general surgery, and endoscopy required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties
• Holiday coverage required for Christmas Eve
• First-time travelers may be considered given required specialty experience
• Accepts local candidates, though a radius rule may apply that could reduce the pay rate
• Radius requirements vary by facility location
• Travelers should begin discussing extension opportunities with their manager at least 45 days before the assignment end date
