Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Virginia or compact state eligibility
• Current BLS certification from the AHA
• Current ACLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Strong working knowledge of Epic EMR
• Preferred: OR circulator and ambulatory surgery experience
• Ability to care for patients across the lifespan
• Reliable, team-oriented approach in a fast-paced surgical setting

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room
• Function as an OR circulator and support surgical procedures from start to finish
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to ensure efficient workflow
• Prepare the operating room, verify patient readiness, and maintain a sterile environment
• Monitor patients closely throughout intraoperative care and respond to changing needs
• Document care accurately in Epic and maintain strong communication throughout the shift
• Support ambulatory surgical services as needed
• Promote a positive patient experience through professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail
