• Shift: 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days
• Shifts Per Week: 4
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
• Weekend Requirements: None
• On-Call Requirements: None

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Experience with vascular and thoracic surgery cases required
• Epic electronic medical record experience required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Valid Virginia RN license or compact RN license
• Preferred: Operating Room Circulator experience
• Preferred: Ambulatory surgery or outpatient surgery center experience

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room
• Circulate surgical cases with a focus on vascular and thoracic procedures
• Support patient preparation, intraoperative monitoring, and recovery coordination
• Document accurately in Epic throughout the surgical workflow
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team to support efficient case flow
• Maintain a sterile, patient-centered environment and follow surgical safety standards
