**Exciting Opportunity for a Nursing Professional in the Operating Room!** **Job Description:** - Step into a rewarding role where you will use your nursing expertise to care for veteran patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room. - Engage with a dynamic team dedicated to providing top-notch patient care. - Your responsibilities will include: - Applying the nursing process to assess patient needs and document findings effectively. - Collaborating on interdisciplinary treatment plans to ensure comprehensive care. - Delivering clinical interventions and evaluating patients' responses to various treatments. - Leading and mentoring non-nursing direct care providers assigned to the operating room. **Required Skills & Experience:** - Strong clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to create effective nursing care plans. - Proficiency in a wide variety of professional nursing services. - Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel. **Float Requirement:** - Flexibility to float to the ASC as needed. **Requirements:** - Must have Level I Trauma Experience and be prepared to handle: - Endovascular surgeries - Spine procedures - Neuro surgeries - Orthopedic surgeries and orthopedic trauma - Previous scrub experience is a plus. **Education:** - Required: ASN - Preferred: BSN **Certifications & Licensure:** - Required: - BLS - AHA - NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license - Preferred: - ACLS - AHA - PALS **Schedule Notes:** - OR CST: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, 3 x 12 hours - Every other weekend required - On-call requirement after 90 days - Scrubs provided **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
