• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
• Schedule: Primarily day coverage with rotating scheduling patterns as needed
• Coverage Expectations: Weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage required
• On-Call: 4 calls per 6-week period with a 1-hour response time
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,270-$2,400
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
• Orientation: 24 hours

Job Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience required
• Operating Room / perioperative nursing experience required
• Charge nurse experience required
• BLS certification required
• CNOR certification required or strongly preferred based on unit compliance
• Experience with Epic preferred
• Comfortable floating within scope as needed
• First-time travelers accepted
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment with a wide variety of OR cases

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in the operating room
• Support a wide range of surgical procedures and specialty cases
• Prepare patients, equipment, and supplies for complex surgeries
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and the perioperative team
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure adherence to OR safety protocols
• Monitor patient status throughout the surgical experience and respond to clinical changes appropriately
• Assist with circulating responsibilities and contribute to efficient room turnover
• Document care accurately and consistently in the charting system
• Participate in weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage as scheduled
