Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 2 years of OR RN experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Surgical Services department supporting ortho, general, vascular, urology, and AAA cases
• Day shift schedule from 6:30am to 3:00pm, 5 days per week, 40 hours weekly
• Call required every 5th weekend and every 15th Friday night
• Additional on-call coverage from 7pm-9:30pm required approximately once a month

Requirements

• Active KY RN license or compact license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required

Additional Information

• Perform patient assessments, care planning, and evaluation of clinical interventions
• Deliver patient and family-centered education throughout care and at discharge
• Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff while mentoring and precepting team members
• Participate in quality, safety, and service process improvement initiatives
• Comply with regulatory standards and practice governance framework
