Join a leading acute-care hospital as an Operating Room Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room (OR) in Bellevue, NE. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be part of a team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with orthopedic cases; candidates must be comfortable with ortho cases.
• Participate in holiday and weekend call, required for 5-6 shifts per month.
• Help precept and orient new staff and travelers.
• Manage 15-20 cases per day across 6 operating rooms.
• Self-scheduling for shifts, balanced by the OR lead.
• Potential for floating to other units as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
• Experience in General Surgery, endoscopic procedures, and orthopedics is required.
• Preferred experience in L&D, gynecology, plastics, podiatry, robotics, and urology.
• BLS certification required.
• First-time travelers are not accepted.

Scrubs will be provided by the facility. Please note that locals are not accepted; candidates must be more than 100 miles from the facility.

For travelers, the call-back rate is only paid if you are on-call offsite and called back to the facility after your shift has ended. If your shift is extended due to patient census or a case running over, you will be paid at your regular rate until you go into overtime. It is important to note that travelers are not paid the same as core staff members, and the core staff policy does not apply to travelers.
