Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience
• Experience with neuro/spine, orthopedic trauma, and general/robotics/trauma cases
• Craniotomy and burr hole experience required
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• CNOR certification
• NIHSS certification
• PALS certification
• TNCC certification
• Charting experience with Allscripts preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Ability to complete required onboarding items within the specified timeline

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in the operating room for a wide range of surgical cases
• Support complex procedures in neuro/spine, orthopedic trauma, and general/robotic surgery
• Assist with safe patient preparation, intraoperative care, and efficient surgical workflow
• Maintain readiness for higher-acuity cases, including craniotomy and burr hole procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to promote positive patient outcomes
• Deliver high-quality care to adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients
• Follow unit protocols, patient safety standards, and documentation requirements
• Participate in orientation and complete modules as required
