Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care and ensure patient safety during operative and invasive procedures.
• Monitor and assess patients throughout surgical procedures and recovery stages.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to perform trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho surgeries.
• Document patient information accurately in Epic charting system.
• Participate in the on-call rotation schedule, covering up to 8 shifts in a 6-week period.
• Adhere to infection control and emergency protocols as necessary.

Qualifications

• Current RN license; compact license preferred upon submission.
• BLS certification is required.
• At least 3 years of OR experience, including trauma and neuro surgery.
• Experience using Epic for electronic health records management.
• Willingness to float between sister facilities if required.
• First-time travelers and applicants with general OR experience accepted.
