Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Eureka, CA 95501

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Eureka, California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (variable start times: 06:30-15:00, 08:30-17:00, 11:00-18:30). Approximately 30 cases per day in an 8-room operating suite. Call coverage to be determined to meet department needs. Candidates must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a community hospital setting serving diverse patient populations including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Well-rounded OR experience preferred with exposure to general surgery, laparoscopic procedures, total joint replacements, and endoscopy
• Vascular, robotic (Da Vinci Xi), and neuro experience is a plus
• 40 hours of paid orientation to support your successful transition
• One pre-approved time off period available during assignment
• May float to affiliate facilities within the region as needed

Requirements:

• Active California RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
• 3-month gap required for return travelers
