Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a Maine or compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience.

Details

• Nursing OR unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 9-week assignment length
• Uses EPIC EMR
• Float policy of up to 25 miles between facilities as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license (Maine or compact) required upon consideration
• AHA certifications must be completed before start if not already held
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room
• Local candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are eligible but not for renewals or extensions
• Local candidates are considered but paid at a reduced local bill rate
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months must be noted at time of consideration
• Requested time off should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract at manager's discretion
• Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage prohibited while on the unit
