OR Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

4x10 Hour Shift (07:00 - 17:30) with 4 shifts per 6-week schedule.

Job Description

The OR Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. The nurse will collaborate with surgical teams, maintain patient safety, and be an advocate for the patient throughout the surgical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during surgical procedures.
• Assist in preparing the operating room for procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed.
• Maintain sterile fields and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License in MD or Compact State.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience in various surgical procedures preferred.
• Charge experience preferred.
